Wanderful Apps Receive Six Coveted Parents’ Choice Awards

Includes Parents’ Choice Gold Awards for Arthur® and Berenstain Bears® Apps

San Francisco, September 13, 2013 – Parents’ Choice Foundation has awarded six of its coveted Parent’s Choice Awards to Wanderful for their highly acclaimed interactive storybooks Apps.  This makes a total of eight Parents Choice awards received by Wanderful – an award for every Wanderful App that has been submitted to Parents’ Choice for review.

The awards are Parents' Choice Gold Honor Awards for Arthur’s Birthday, Berenstain Bears Get in a Fight, Berenstain Bears In The Dark, and The Tortoise and the Hare. In addition to previously announced Parents' Choice Silver Honor Awards for Arthur’s Teacher Trouble and Harry and the Haunted House, Ruff’s Bone was Recommended by Parent’s Choice and the Wanderful Storybooks Sampler was Approved by Parents’ Choice.

“We are incredibly excited and grateful to receive these coveted Parents’ Choice Awards,” said Wanderful Founder and CEO Mickey W. Mantle. “The Parents’ Choice Foundation is meticulous in their handling of reviews and extremely selective in their awards. We are honored to be among the limited number of developers who have received Parents’ Choice Gold, Silver, Recommendations and Approvals.”

Comments from the Parents’ Choice Reviews illustrate the quality and value of the Wanderful Apps:

“Every word on every page is interactive, and the books come with multiple languages, parent tips, and an extensive teacher resource guide to use the app/storybook in the classroom setting. These features combined with top-notch storytelling make this app worth its $4.99 price tag. Download it, and enjoy hours of fun with your little one.”

“The thought and creativity that was put into the interactivity in Berenstain Bears Get in a Fight is largely unmatched in any other interactive book. When you combine that with a classic Berenstain Bears children's book you have a complete winner. This is one of the best eBook apps available for young children, and there are few people of any age that would not enjoy it. ”

“Arthur's Birthday is an interactive storybook from Wanderful, adapted for iOS from the original Living Books software series. It is priced at $4.99 and is one of the best ways you can spend 5 bucks for your child.”

“Wanderful includes a customizable settings page so that parents/teachers can program for individual learning and play styles. Multi-lingual (English and Spanish) languages as well as individual word recognition are available in the "let me play" mode...  The developer is to be commended for advancing reading skill development in a well-crafted, extremely intelligent manner.”
