Wanderful CEO Mickey W. Mantle to Speak at 2013 CES
Mantle Will Join the Kids@Play Panel to Discuss Cutting-Edge Apps and Books for Kids.
SAN FRANCISCO – January 3, 2013 – Wanderful CEO- Founder, Mickey W. Mantle, will join the “Cutting-Edge Apps and Books for Kids” panel January 9th at the 2013 CES. The panel promises to be one of the highlights of the Kids@Play Summit. On the panel, the former Pixar, Gracenote and Brøderbund executive will be speaking to the differences, issues and challenges from the days of physical software distribution to today’s worldwide digital software distribution through app stores such the Apple iTunes and Amazon App stores.
Panel Outline: Cutting-Edge Apps and Books for Kids:
From the resurrection of old CD favorites to new, augmented reality apps, from traditional bound books to those that defy definition, from immersive new worlds with currency, physical objects and a life of their own, we look at kids’ media in 2013.

Wanderful will be exhibiting its new and award-winning line of interactive storybooks at CES. The company’s first apps are currently available on the App Store and will be launching in 2013 for the Android, Windows and Mac platforms. The company is making the Wanderful Storybook Sampler – which provides fully interactive pages from each Wanderful storybooks – available for bundling with Android and Windows devices. Wanderful will be in the Kids@Play Pavilion, booth #71010. Mr. Mantle will be available for interviews most days during the show.
